Welcome to the magical world
of Bertrum Muffett Creations.

Each mouse and rabbit (and now hedgehogs!) is individually handmade and are completely unique. We don’t follow patterns or rules and create from our imagination and just let the materials talk to us.

We are a husband and wife team and live in our cottage in North Cornwall with our dog, Dora Whipple, a very cheeky Beddywhip!

Our creations are made right here at home, usually in the evenings as we both work full-time. Sometimes we take ourselves off to Bodmin moor in our van (Bongo Bob) where we can make mice and rabbits whilst taking inspiration from our surroundings.

The Bertrum Muffett name came from our son, Robert, whose nickname was Bertrum Muffett (taken from a character from a Carry On film) and which he still uses today even though he’s now 35!

Our creations aren’t suitable for children but perfect for childish adults.

Ferdis

Every now and then we create a favourite mouse who we find difficult to part with. Ferdis was the mouse we simply couldn’t let go and he now lives with us and accompanies us on our travels. Ferdis helps us with the day to day running and has a keen eye on quality control and helping the other mice prepare for the journeys to their new homes as some of them can feel a bit nervous! You can follow his adventures on our Instagram and facebook pages. Ferdis now has followers and friends from all over the world.

Old Bears Club Teddy

We also love giving old teddy bears a second chance and have now introduced The Old Bears Club to the Bertrum Muffett world. Here you may find a bear who will be looking for a loving home. Some of the bears have never known love and some have been loved so much they have lost all their fur! Either way we believe that there’s a bear out there for everyone!
